The title itself shows the controversial nature of the subject, how the Euro-Atlantic space tried to dal, and is trying, with what the Arab countries knew as new and unusual phenomena. We tipped to divide the research on two parts; the first one studied the structure of the Euro-Atlantic partnership, its developments during the Cold War and after its end and the collapse of the Soviet Union, and the specificities of the Arab Political Transitions from a geopolitical and a practical point of views. While the second part focus on the dynamics of the Atlantic strategies towards the so-called "Arab Uprisings"; waltzing from the strategy of anarchic intervention in Libya, where the situation turned into a failed state, to a conscientious and measured non direct intervention, as in Syria and Yemen, where terrorism and Islamism have become an obstacle to the path of democratic transition.otherLa Coopération euro-atlantique à l'épreuve des transitions politiques arabes depuis 2011Learning Object
